Instructions for use for our products

Plant care is crucial for the growth and health of your plants. Here you will find detailed instructions on how to use our various products, which you can also combine as you wish!

How do I use liquid fertilizer?

Our highly concentrated liquid fertilizers are easy to use and provide your plants with an efficient supply of nutrients all year round. Mix a few drops of liquid fertilizer with water and water your plants every two weeks during the growth phase from March to October. In winter, one fertilization per month is sufficient. You can find exact information for each type of plant on the labels and product pages.

How to use special fertilizers (foliar fertilizers):

Foliar fertilization is a quick and easy form of liquid fertilization and supplements the plants' nutrient supply via the roots. You can easily mix our FARBIO® foliar fertilizers with water in a spray bottle. When using foliar fertilizers, it is important to spray the entire leaf surface generously! You can also add the products to the water you use to water your plants.

Can I over-fertilize with FARBIO® liquid fertilizers?

Over-fertilizing with organic ingredients is practically impossible. Nevertheless, you should pay attention to the dosage instructions on the label and on the product page. You can tell that the plant has been over-fertilized by the fact that the leaves curl upwards from the edge. The leaf edges can turn brown.

Do you need to fertilize in winter?

The rule of thumb is simple: if the plant has less light available, it also needs less fertilizer because it grows more slowly in less light. You can use FARBIO® liquid fertilizer throughout the plant's growth period.

substrates and soil improvers

Our substrates are ideal for improving soil structure and creating optimal growth conditions for your plants. Simply mix the respective substrate with the existing soil in a ratio of 1:3. A combination of different substrates is also possible. You can use expanded clay as a basis for a hydroponic culture or a drainage layer. You must enrich activated carbon with an organic fertilizer before using it. Depending on the type of plant and the mixture, the substrates must be re-fertilized every 4 to 6 weeks.

With the FARBIO® soil improver you can improve soil sustainably and effectively in just a few steps.

How do I fertilize cannabis?

For growing cannabis at home, we offer FARBIO® Cannabis, products specifically designed to meet the needs of these plants: from the growth phase to flowering. Simply add a few drops of the respective product to the water you use to water your plants.

During the vegetative phase, when the plant is mainly growing and forming leaves, you will usually need to fertilize more frequently. It is recommended to fertilize every one to two weeks.

During the first few weeks of the flowering phase, you can continue to fertilize every one to two weeks. As the buds develop, you should gradually reduce the fertilization to ensure that the plant achieves good aroma development and ripening.
